1st Assignment

Howdy, OK here's my first assignment so far. It's going waaaay better than I ever expected. This pic is blurry but you get the idea. I'll post a better pic when I get the drawing back from the teacher. Basically the idea here was to study light, shadows and the value of light in between to create the illusion of object depth and volume. Click on any images to enlarge them. I found the Canson paper at Aaron Brothers Art store. I was a little surprised since it seemed like it would be a little bit specialized.
