Weelllllll, Here's assignment #1 for the new semester. I just got done with it. I did definitely wait till the last minute to work on it. Its due tomorrow and I am ready to crash. Basically it was a study of perspective. The shadows are in perspective as well as the objects. We had to use Black and white charcoal but they couldnt touch...the paper had to be the medium value. This is charcoal on Canson Mi Tientes pastel paper. It was fun but I'm very ready to move on to the next thing. I'm also supposed to bring in 3 different images for review of which one will be chosen to replicate using black and white charcoal. i have some images but Im not really crazy about any of them. I'll see what else I can dig up tomorrow before class.
