Howdy, I went to the SDAI gallery life drawing session again last night. It was pretty good once things got moving. The regular area was being used for a reception for the theatre there so we all had to go draw in the basement of the theatre. It was actually kinda cool there. We just had to improvise with furniture to draw on. Posted by Picasa

Here's the final horses using Caran D'ache aquaelle crayons. It didn't quite come out the way I was origionally picturing that it would. I may try doing it again soon using different colors. Posted by Picasa

Here's another one from tonite using these Yarka crayon stick things that I got like years ago and never used. They were a lot tougher to do and shading with as they really didn't smear well. Maybe I've just grown used to charcoal but I like it much better. This was also on newspaper. Posted by Picasa

Here was from tonite's life drawing class. I did about 5 diff ones instead of working on just one the whole session. I was trying to focus more on the form rather than the details. I was also playing with different media on each of them. This was different shades of grey charcoal on newspaper. Posted by Picasa
