...and this was a final 15 minute study. I used the new Conte set on Canson Mi-Tientes paper. It was fun. I need to work on this media a lot more but it was a good intro. 

This was about a 60 minute pose that everyone in class fell in love with. Charcoal and graphite on Strathmore charcoal paper. 

Here were warm up gestures from last night. 1 minute each. I got a new set of Conte crayons in bright colors so this was my 1st shot playing with them. 

Here was a homework assignment for over spring break. We had to do 5 hand studies on one sheet of paper. This was in colored pencil.

Here's a 20min charcoal sketch of the skeleton spooning the model.....yep our teacher has an awesome sense of humor. 

We spent the whole class working on body parts. The idea is to mix a bunch of body parts from both the model and the skeleton on a piece of good paper and make a bizarre composition. I still have to add more to mine this weekend.

Here's a 20 min drawing. We were introduced to 'Skeely'. A human skeleton that helps to show what's underneath everything. We will drawing a lot more of him in the future from the sound of it. This was of the model holding skelly's hand. I ran out of time before I could finish his spine going up but you get the idea. 

Here was one 20 min proportion study. We started out with a 5 min gesture then had to move into 15 mins of finishing it.
